The economic effects of Covid-19 hit Papeachu hard. We lost the momentum we'd created over the past four years, and lost money on books that we'd printed which we could no longer take to book fairs and readings. With this fundraiser, we hope to get back up on our feet so that we can continue to publish amazing nonbinary and female voices.

This Kickstarter is going towards our upcoming collection "From the Waist Down: the body in healthcare," which serves to highlight the experiences women and enby folks have had in the exam room. The book will be released March 2022.

Keep Your Eyes on Your Own Paper by Betsy Jordan came out on March 28th and is Papeachu's first non-fiction title! This beautifully illustrated work is an ode to young women everywhere who feel stuck, scared, or unsure of their future. Check it out!

Lynne Ellis's chapbook, In these failing times I can forget, has been updated to a full-length collection! If you liked it the first go around then you'll love this one even more! Check it out! If you'd like to hear some of her new pieces, find her reading some on our youtube page.

New Submission Opportunity!

Papeachu is publishing a single-issue collection, From the Waist Down, centered around the true experiences had by women and nonbinary folks in the US medical system. Poetry and nonfiction only for this issue! See submission guidelines here.

Papeachu Review is currently on hold. We will be back to our bi-annual publication schedule soon!
